The Lichtentaler Allee

One of Baden-Baden’s classic attractions is Lichtentaler Allee. Here you’ll find many green, shady spots that can serve as a refuge on hot days.

Sintersteinbrunnen: Right at the beginning of Lichtentaler Allee, the large fountain offers a bit of refreshment. When the wind is blowing in the right direction, you can even feel a few cool drops of water.
Klosterwiese: At the far end of Lichtentaler Allee, a small path branches off and runs parallel to the avenue. There, several benches in the natural shade of the forest invite you to take a quiet break.

Michaelsberg

On warm days, Michaelsberg is a peaceful retreat surrounded by greenery, with shady spots to catch your breath and relax.

Tip: On warm days, the walk up from downtown can be a bit strenuous. An easier way to reach Michaelsberg is by taking bus 208 to the Solmsstraße stop.
