Description

From the beginnings of the Romans, to the bathing and cures in Baden-Baden, to the glamorous times as a world bath in the 19th century up to the present day...

The Baden-Baden City Museum, whose history dates back to 1892, is now located in the so-called Alleehaus in the middle of the famous Lichtentaler Allee. The permanent exhibition offers an insight into the history of the city with its more than 2000-year-old tradition as a bathing and health resort and its unprecedented rise to the status of a glamorous 19th century world spa.
