It is not only art connoisseurs that we would like to recommend the art exhibition "The Painters of the Sacred Heart" at the Museum Frieder Burda. This is the first time such an extensive exhibition has been shown with works by Henri Rousseau, Camille Bombois, André Bauchant, Louis Vivin and Séraphine Louis. In real life they were tax collectors, gardeners or fairground wrestlers, as artists they were self-taught - and thus created a cosmos of images that still captivates us today with its sensual immediacy.

The Baden-Baden Autumn Festival at the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden is dedicated to Europe's musical heritage. Where the Orient Express once pulled into the old Baden-Baden railway station, conductors Thomas Hengelbrock and Teodor Currentzis will dedicate themselves in 2022 to central works of European musical theatre.
