Social & ecological projects at the Christmas Market

Every Thursday, half of all proceeds from our lovingly designed Christmas bakery go directly to Lebenshilfe Baden-Baden in support of the Schatzkiste preschool. Each biscuit becomes a small contribution toward greater educational opportunity.

Our food vendors actively support the Foodsharing initiative. Leftover food isn’t thrown away – it’s picked up each evening by a dedicated team and given a meaningful second life.

On December 5, we warmly invite you to our action day at the Stadtwerke-Hütte. There you can learn more about our new biodiversity project: With a donation, you support the planting of climate-resilient trees in the city forest.

Throughout the entire Christmas market, a donation box is available at stall #85 at Honigseb. In addition, Honigseb lipstick is sold there for €5.50. For every product sold, €0.50 goes directly to the project. This allows visitors to support the protection of our natural heritage at the same time.

The non-profit Stadtwerke Stall has become a well-established part of the Baden-Baden Christmas Market, offering a glimpse into the many ways local engagement can take shape. It is a place where visitors and volunteers meet, discover regional initiatives, and enrich the market with lovingly crafted items.

Since 2022, Stadtwerke Baden-Baden has supported this concept, helping to strengthen a sense of community that places solidarity and sustainability at its core. Depending on the day, the stall features a wide range of activities – from homemade treats, handicrafts, and creative pieces to small actions, fundraising initiatives, or special products from school and club projects.
